The public is invited to attend an informational meeting hosted by North Carolina Emergency Management's Hazard Mitigation team. Ryan Cox and his staff will talk about the different grants available under FEMA's Hazard Mitigation Assistance programs as well as provide technical advice to individual property owners interested in elevating their homes under FEMA's Hazard Mitigation Grant Program. Interested citizens should complete the attached form and bring to the meeting. Citizens are also encouraged to bring a copy of their Elevation Certificate, if available.
