They live across the street year round. They are nasty and aggressive and much bigger than any of my pups. When the weather is frigid they sometimes hunker down on tree branches or they come in my direction to feed off of anything they can find in my yard. I am deathly afraid of them but I must admit I do feel badly for them too.
We those around Charlotte, as well, Sheila. I'm not big on birds so I don't feel awfully sorry!

I worked at a software company for several years, where there was a large flock of Wild Turkeys. Many of them disappeared one autumn, but showed back up at our offices in the form of jerky!

That is a scary sight! We don’t have wild turkeys wandering around like that in my area and so glad we don’t!

We have a group of terrorists, er, I mean turkeys, roaming our HOA here in Hawaii. I do note that with every passing month, the numbers are dwindling. Perhaps they have found themselves on somebody else's dinner plate? A flock of 8 is now down to about 3, maybe 4. They are viscious, and I do not like turkeys of any kind. Especially human turkeys. I'm right there with ya, Sheila!

Morning again Sheila.
With all the hunters in my area, they are kept under control. I do agree they are very aggressive.

Good morning Sheila. Thankfully we don't have them in my suburban environment. Not my favorite birds.
