A box of goodness from the garden in Haiku Maui

Real Estate Agent with Hawai'i Life Real Estate Brokers HRE# 58089 - RS

The new year is off to a good start.

It's great to come home from a vacation on the cold and wintry mainland and go "shopping" for food in the garden.  With a freezer full of our own Maui grass-fed beef and a few things from the garden we've been eating quite well.

  • eggplant
  • beans
  • pineapple
  • hot peppers
  • eggs
  • herbs

Living in Hawaii doesn't have to be expensive if you enjoy a simple country lifestyle.

Let me help you find a home where you can grow your own food and live more sustainably.

I love this! I haven't been good with maintaining plants properly in the past, but when we move to Montana later this year, I intend to start a vegetable garden. I eat so many of them and would love to be able to grow my own. We shall see how successful I am.

Eggplant is simply my favorite thing in the world to eat (I do not eat meat so i eat it quite often). That garden looks like it produces some awesome food!

Jeffrey DiMuria 321.223.6253 Waves Realty - I just learned how to make babaganoush so now I have another way to use these big eggplants.

Kat Palmiotti I'm sure it won't be long and you'll be enjoying your own harvest

Thanks for all the great comments!

That's a wonderful box of wholesome food, Georgie.  I grow a few vegetables in my garden each year.  However, we don't have the year round growing season that is as abundant as your's.

Your garden sounds wonderful! I'm always filled with ambition every spring, but lack the follow through in the summer!

Georgie, how did I miss this post? Loved the visual and I never thought of you as a country girl until last year when you wrote a few blog posts about the chickens:)Endre
