Along with my real estate career, I write a weekly advice column on all things "About The House". I pride myself on timely communication and responses to phone messages and emails. While I can always communicate a cheery disposition (even if I have to fake it!) through my voice, this doesn't always translate through email. In my quest to reply quickly to the many questions I receive, I'm sometimes short on the pleasantries. I'm thinking of adding the following to my email signature:
I try to respond quickly and accurately to all questions and requests. In doing so, its been pointed out to me that I come off as "snippy". Please rest assured that if I choose to snip at you, I'll clarify every snip in advance. No clarification, no snip! Now get over yourself...
