Washington County Utah Residential Market Report - Up to December 2018
Winter temperatures are cooler and home buyers continue to buy and sell in the southern Utah area in January 2019. New construction permits total 3,065 from January 01, 2018 to December 31, 2018, for Single Family Homes and 1,401 for other.

Washington County Utah Only- No outside sales

Single Family Residential sales decreased from 289 in November to 247 in December. (Washington County only and do not include Condo, Townhouse, Modular, Manufactured, Mobile or New Construction numbers).
- Single Family Residential Home Listings decreased from 1345 in November to 1176 in December
- Condo/Townhome Sales decreased from 58 in November to 50 in December and Listings decreased from 262 in November to 219 in December
- Notice of Defaults stayed the same with 13 in November to December
- Trustees Deeds decreased from 7 in November to 5 in December
- Single Family Home Permits increased from 152 in November to 123 in December which is below December 2017, 2016 and 2006 for Washington County, Utah
Inventory continues to fluctuate and has increased as you can see from the Year-To-Date Listings starting from December 2017 to December 2018. There were 59 more listings in December 2018 than last year same month.
