With the exception of the Utah real estate student questions, I think the Q&A section's most popular question is "How do I edit my blog signature?".
You've changed brokerages. An email or website has changed. You just want to freshen it up a bit. You need to add your state's compliance requirements or the EHO symbol.
Whether a long time member who's not touched their signature block in ages, or a newer member, editing your blog signature is fairly easy to do once you know where to find it. Things change here in the Rain and where you used to click isn't the same any longer, so here's a 2019 version of how to edit your blog signature.
So step 1 is get to your MY HOME page. (You can use the drop down menu in the upper right by your photo to get there.)
Once you're there you'll notice quite a few selections on the left sidebar (see picture to the left). You can edit your profile, check out your traffic and lots more.
But to get to what we're after first click MY BLOG and look for BLOG SETTINGS.
Once you've clicked BLOG SETTINGS the screen will change to this:
There's the Signature block ready for editing.
You've got quite a bit of capability there to insert photos, text, banners, links, social media icons and more. Take a look around the Rain and you'll see a wide variety.
And yes, if you've got the skills, you can do some html work too. Just click at the html symbol as shown below.
You can check out how your work is progressing using the PREVIEW function (the eye symbol just to the left of the HTML icon.
Once you've got things the way you want them, don't forget one last VERY IMPORTANT STEP.
Click the small UPDATE icon just below the signature block section.
And that's it! Any changes made WILL roll back through every post you've ever written. Just one more reason to keep certain things out of your blog posts (e.g. your franchise name) and in the signature block instead.
Until next Tuesday, just Ask An Ambassador if you need help!
