I am grateful for my cats. On cold days, they take turns on my lap and keep me warm and toasty. On days when I am not feeling well, they curl up at my feet and keep me company. They meow when I come home and rub their heads and bodies all over my legs. When I am stressed, petting them and hearing their purrs make me calm down and relax. They are my furry children and I don't know what I would do without them!
This is Toby and Mr Kitty. Toby is my 12 year old gray kitty. He was a rescue from the shelter and he is just the sweetest cat in the world. He loves to go outside, even in the snow. Mr Kitty is the orange tiger. He is only 2 and he was a stray cat that wandered into our lives a year ago. He had come into our home through the garage when we were gone for the day. It had been raining all day and we didn't discover him hiding in our basement until the next day. He became a part of our family and we could not imagine him not being there. He chose us and loves to follow Toby everywhere!
This is Miss Kitty. She was an owner surrender at the shelter. She is 9 years old and she is the softest kitty. She loves to lay on my lap as soon as I sit down.
P.s. I am painfully aware that we are not very creative with our kitty names. Mr and Miss Kitty don't like one another so they are not a pair! :) that is why she is still a miss. LOL
Keep smiling!
Karen
