You want to sell your home without an agent and save the commissions. Totally within your rights to do so and hopefully you have a smooth path to the closing table.
You decide you don't need a buyer's agent because you think the listing agent will give you half the commission since you're unrepresented. So the agent doubles their liability and you want them to take less pay? It MIGHT happen....
You've decided to build a new home and figure the builder will cut you a price break since you elected to not have an agent. (HINT: The major Cincinnati builders DO NOT cut you a price break for showing up solo).
Maybe you've been through quite a few real estate deals over your lifetime and figure you know what you need to know.

There's a simpler way, just hire a real estate agent from the start. An experienced agent has been there and done that for all types of issues. And that experience often helps prevent issues from happening in the first place, or if they happen, keeping them small and easily handled.
