Seasoned Agent? No Business? You Can Change It | Fair Play & No Greed

Most of my posts end with “Just a thought for the moment.”  This one begins with it! Direct Mail Marketing is always a thought in my mind. I’m either thinking about a new theme for my next Free Market Analysis postcard or thinking about the postcards for the change of status listings from the weekend.

All of it costs money, but without it, my income and that of the team members would be significantly less than it is. That led me to think about how others who want to climb that “income ladder” are attempting to conquer this challenge.

It’s risky business for sure.  Nothing is guaranteed, and that’s why it’s important to be consistent with this method. No tiptoeing with Direct Mail Marketing. It’s only for big boys and girls.

Think about other independent contractors who rely on real estate agents for their income. There are many professions that depend on people.

People who need people are your target to create a game plan for your next 6 month mailing program. Every postcard has two sides. I use both sides for marketing the team members.

You could easily sell the backside of a postcard to another related business for a fee.

You could actually sell the backside to another agent in your office, and work out a deal so each of you make money on each listing you close. You could team up and do the appointment together.  Create a pre-listing binder and do a presentation together. You could be a team for postcard listing calls, without being a “formal team!!!”

All it would take is one listing to get the ball rolling.  All postcards for that listing, including status changes would be split and future business would be split.

Don’t let greed get in the way!  If your business is not doing well, get it back into shape. There are many ways to accomplish that task. This is just one idea, but it’s one that works if the players are “fair players.”

Yes, it’s just a thought for the moment….
