I like that quote, Paul.  I remember one time my family was sitting around the dinner table.  Someone asked us to all recite what we were grateful for.  One of my daughters (an original, herself), said, "I am grateful for my dad, who wished me an interesting life.  And, I'm grateful for my mother, who provided the example."

I like that quote. We all have to listen to our inner voice, figure out who we are, and do things our way.

I have like that quote.  When I was 3, listening to my parents discuss me with friends, one said, I was Russian, the other said I was French , and a third one said I was Lebanese having been born in a Lebanon, and my parents and their friends laughed, when I yelled, "I am me!."  LOL A

After seeing and reading your post you got me thinking when people do shameful things can they even look another person in the eye?

Hi Paul- what a wise and true quote!!! This is something we should encourage in all of our children!!!
