Real Estate Agent with EXP Realty 414-525-0563 57026-90 Broker

Following the very sage advice of fellow ActiveRain member,  Anita Clark we have become members of a local Community group and must say we are becoming more informed about local issues. (There is discussion of a school referendum) and more importantly about the needs of the community.

New Berlin water tower  The Residents of City of New Berlin adopted a charity and raised over $9,000 for a local Veteran's organization in a short amount of time.

When you are living a comfortable don't think of homelessness in a community that you call home...and yet, there are many communities that have this issue, whether it is recognized or not.

Tonight there was an appeal for items for Homeless Veterans in the area and as you will see, it is sooo easy to be helpful to someone who has helped you in immeasurable ways. Whether it is a trip to the dollarVeterans store for tolietries, coloring books and crayons or finding things in the closet that are "lightly used"...everyone can help.

As a veteran, I am amazed at how many of my fellow Americans are having such a hard time in life. I’m going to have to look for an organization in my area to support Sally K. & David L. Hanson

Morning Sally.

We have a few veterans and a few claiming to be ones, that are in need.  Regardless if they are, or are not, the need is there.

Good morning Sally. So sad so many of our own are in this position. Surprised that the big bag we donated contains so much we did not need that will now be put to good use! Enjoy your day!

Good morning, Sally... what a wonderful cause to promote. It's simply shameful that we have homeless veterans... and I am always shocked by how many of them there are. Hopefully your post will generate many donations that would otherwise not have come in.

Hello Sally and David - seeing coloring books as part of the list is always a "reality check " that is particularly painful.

Kudos to you Sally. Helping others in our communities always comes back around. You can bet those in the FB Group will remember you when they are looking to make a real estate move.
