Wordless Wednesday - Purple Haze
Well, if we can't have green leaves, the purple haze will have to do! This ominous-looking tree is home to a family of hawks during the spring & summer months and seems quite lonely without them now.

Thanks, Sharon Lee! What was funny was that it appeared more pink to me but, when I downloaded the photo, it was downright purple!

The sky was almost all 'black' and I thought the color was pink but, as much as I love pink, it came out looking as ominous as it felt - a purple hazy color. I love surprises when I download my pictures!

Ha! I'll bet it's beautiful there with the snow you guys have been getting, Wayne Martin! I've been hearing about the snow from Ryan (my son) and he's loving it!
This one looks like it should be towering over a haunted house to me, Carol Williams! I kept thinking I needed to get a shot of this tree and was pleasantly surprised at the outcome!
