It can't be said enough...

Take care of the outside pets and farm animals.

One area that people have a misconception is water.

Water is very important for pets to stay warm.  (goes for people also)

Some say they can eat snow. 

Yes, but the body has to warm that snow and there is very little moisture

ins the snow.  If you don't believe me take a glass of unpacked snow and melt it.

See how little water you get.

So, once again...Make sure you give them water!

William we used to have Wiley live outside and built him a house and gave him blankets, but we ended up transitioning him in...he never wants to leave...anyone comes to our home he runs into Diane's Office or our bedroom but never outside...Endre

William- Interesting because I'll bet some think that as long as there is snow outside, their pets will have access to water. Our animals need to be kept inside in cold weather.
