Queen: If you really want the next breakthru in your business, then you must incorporate the miracle of trust into your marketing and business practices. Friends will be friends, but potential clients have no idea who you are. No-one but you can make that relationship happen. You can’t tell people that you are somebody to love, because they will just baulk, think you are stone cold crazy and say, “you can’t fool me” in a flash. If you want potential clients to say, “we believe in you”, then show them that you are trustworthy. Marketing isn’t heaven for everyone and a lot of business owners get this wrong. I see it all the time when another one bites the dust because they tell a winter’s tale and try to sell their products or service as a kind of magic when it is clearly not. Look, it’s a hard life and you must have one vision for your business. If you are going to play the game, then you need to have the staying power to see it through. Well, if you don’t stop me now, I will be late to my next meeting, so I want to break free at this time and leave you with this thought. Don’t be a killer queen with your marketing, instead treat it like that crazy little thing called love, take your time, be honest with your clients and soon you will find that you have client relationships that seem to be made in heaven.
