One of the greatest joys about working in Real Estate is the connection you make not only to clients but also to vendors that you come to know, trust, and rely on. We have been very lucky to have in our sphere of influence a group of fantastic vendors that have become integral parts of our team.
Lenders, stagers, movers, electricians, painters, roofers, cleaners, flooring installers—every part of the listing process requires a wide circle of people. When you find people to fill those roles, it is the beginning of a great relationship. It is a great feeling to send your trusted vendors into your client’s homes and feel complete confidence in their abilities. It is amazing to have people apart of your team that have equal parts intelligence, friendly bedside manner, and honesty.
Our number one vendor is our genius of a handyman, Steve Nott, who owns the Property Therapy Company. Imagine having a “go-to” guy that you can trust to walk into some of the most unpredictable situations and make sense out of chaos. Steve easily fixes disasters, remedies issues, and always leave behind a gorgeous final product. Clients love Steve, and the agents in our office are always swapping stories of the fixes Steve has completed. He will go above and beyond (sometimes literally climbing up on the tallest of roofs) for our team, and we are always grateful. Just last week Steve took a call from one of my agents, and he fit a leaky window into his day on a Friday evening. The agent was so impressed that she asked our team (who closely with Steve) for an idea of a thank you gift to show her appreciation. We all had a lot of ideas of things like would work because we have taken the time to get to know Steve as an individual.
We hope to always show our immense appreciation to ALL of our vendors, and this post has been a great way to remind us of how grateful we are for our team and everyone connected to our team!
