This studio in River Place South is now sold and closed. My investor clients were pleased to be able to purchase another unit in the community. Selling fully furnished and with a tenant currently occupying the unit made it the perfect setup for them. Due to being a cooperative community River Place is unique for our area as we have very few in Northern Virginia. It is situated in the heart of Rosslyn and is home to 1700 residences. There are four buildings; River Place North, South, East, and West. The units range in size from studios with 383 square feet all the way up to 3 bedroom Penthouses with over 2,300 square feet. There are many different floorplans in the community. Some units sell with an assigned or garage parking spot, while others do not include parking. Parking spots do become available for sale from time to time and there are often spots that can be rented.
River Place Amenities
Residents at River Place enjoy access to many on-site community amenities; fitness center with a sauna, showers and locker rooms, outdoor pool, gated entry, secure access for each building, concierge, convenience store, ATM, dry cleaners, and a salon.

The community is known for its prime location; Rosslyn Metro is just 2 blocks away from the neighborhood. Residents can also walk across the Key Bridge to visit Georgetown and surrounding areas. Shopping, dining, and entertainment are all within minutes of the community.
Being a unique community makes it extremely important to work with an agent that has a proven successful track record in the community. The financing requirements are also different in River Place than what’s standard in most communities. There are only a handful of lenders that can provide financing due to it being a co-op and many opt to purchase with cash. Buyers need an agent that can educate them on purchasing a cooperative so that they can make an informed decision if it’s the right purchase for them.
