This is the Year of the Pig in the Chinese New Year. You may think of pigs as being selfish….”going whole hog” so to speak….Not so…The pig is the 12th of the Zodiac Animals.
There is a story explaining the Pig’s presence in the zodiac in 12th place. A wolf destroyed his house and and when he got to the place of Zodiac Placement, he was the last one there because he had to rebuild his house.
In Chinese Culture, Pigs are a symbol of wealth. Their chubby cheeks and big ears are a sign of good fortune. It is believed their outgoing personalities bless them with good fortune in life.
This Challenge requires any entrant to truly “Come from Contribution”….not just once…not just one good deed…but in this year of good fortune to pass this good fortune to members of your community…Not once but throughout the year. It is life changing for you,….in that you will regularly be doing something new and good…and life changing for members of your community who are the recipients of your contribution.
The contribution does not have to cost money,.,,,it can be a regular contribution of your time as a volunteer. Helping with fund raising for a non profit…you choose your “give back” and show us you do regularly every month. It must be NEW not something you have always done.
This is not the kind the challenge that has one winner that makes one contribution more valuable than another. Everyone who enters and explains their "GIVE BACK" in a minimum of 200 words with picture or video will be awarded 1,000 points.
All the very Best….We know AR Members are Exactly That…
