Inspirational Post for 2/3/19

Love & Marriage

This is the story of a couple who fell in love. I knew the bride for several years beforehand. Love radiated when she fell in love. You could see ♥. You could feel . You could be happy to hear about her romantic proposal. They got married and lived in a small apartment making many sacrifices, knowing that when that second lease was up, their goal was to buy a house. It didn't have to be big and extravagant, it just had to be adequate enough to fill all the spaces in their home with!

Building a Life

The first thing the couple did is consulted with me about purchasing a home. I gave them three Lenders to speak to who were credible and had years of experience in the Mortage business. They invested their time in getting educated in the process. Once they were pre-approved, we looked at houses. It isn't that they shunned all possibilities in their price range, they just weren't ready to settle for what was available on the market at that time and they did not want to waste their money on rent. They decided to build and make the sacrifice of staying in their apartment for a little bit longer.  requires patience and so they were ready to wait patiently for construction, to begin with, the builder.

Patience is a Virtue

Building a home takes time, patience, understanding, listening, and learning. Much time is required to stay focused on the goal. They learned that building isn't as easy as 1-2-3. There are many moving parts to building construction. Unfortunately, the weather, zoning, planning, city ordinances, permits, building materials, excavation, utilities, and every aspect of the building process doesn't happen on schedule or when the weather is perfect.  requires patience. Their dream was put off many times before they were ready to move into their new home. During the duration of waiting, like any moving parts are tested.

Results

and patience conquers all fears. Although sacrifices are many, I am proud to say they had a baby who is now eight years old. Their daughter was born two years after they moved into their new home. The guest room decorated like ♥ in Paris was transformed into a nursery and  continues to grow. Although challenges are many, they are happy in  and ♥ how everything turned out.

The real estate industry plays a significant role in shaping lives, neighborhood communities, schools, places where people can worship, and places where families can live together hopefully, happily ever after. Life really is a walk in the park when is in the air!

Hi Patricia... I so agree that it's a privilege to let people share their lives with us in this intimate way. I've never used that expression that buyers are liars... mostly because I believe that buyers often just don't know what they want until they see it.

Kristin Johnston - REALTOR® - There sure is a lot of time that goes by when working with buyers who are just getting started thinking they are going to buy a home and decide to build. Time can feel like eternal! And yes! Patience is truly tested!!! But I love the fact the in my case, the reward was worth it and we are still friends. I just got an invitation to visit a couple of weeks ago and it was so wonderful to see the improvements they made to the home and how much their daughter grew! Life is good when you build friends for life!

They were so lucky to have you by their side. I am sure you encouraged them when their love and patience was tested. Sometimes part of our job is helping them understand the process and each other during the house purchase life. I know you did a good job with this lovely couple who became a loving family.
