Here in Southern California, everyone has a chance to celebrate this wonderful Chinese tradition at the Ventura Lantern Street Festival 2019. Decorate your lantern in any style you want. Then, hang it up in one of the 350-foot tunnels located around downtown Ventura. While this happens, live music fills the air. Food trucks ensure that no one goes hungry. So, make sure you bring some money with you to fill your tummies up with yummy bites to eat. When the sun goes down, the lanterns light up. Trust us. Tickets for Ventura Lantern Street Festival 2019
Tickets for the Ventura Lantern Street Festival 2019 cost $29 per person (ages 12 & older). Your general admission ticket allows you access to the festival as well as one lantern of your own. All children under 12 with an accompanying adult get into the event absolutely free of charge. Children's lanterns will be available for purchase for a fee. If you'd like to donate to the Turning Point Foundation, a $10 additional charge will be tacked onto the general admission fee (for $39 total). For an even bigger experience, purchase a VIP package for $75. With this package, you gain access to the festival, receive one lantern and a commemorative T-shirt, and get to dine on a wonderful dinner prepared especially for you.
