February in the Poconos is a time for adventure and romance. There are many wonderful winter happenings this weekend.

If you're anything like me you are always on the lookout for fun, adventure and romance.  So keep reading and I will share some of the Poconos many happenings this weekend.

If you would like to rent a cozy cabin with perhaps a fireplace where you and your sweetheart can snuggle with a glass of wine from one of our outstanding vineyards or maybe sit in a hot tub and watch the snow across the mountains or lake.  Pocono Mountain Lakes Realty still has rentals available for all of your romantic getaway needs.

Lake Wallenpaupack is one of our premier lake regions and this weekend they have some fun adventures planned.  Do you know any hockey players looking to play some old fashioned pond ice hockey?  Wally Ice Fest is hosting a fun time filled with winter fun.  Check out the site here.   The festivities take place on February 9th and 10th, 2019.

There are many farm to table restaurants where the elegance of the Pocono  Mountains shines.  At the Settler's Inn  innovative food, fine wine,  and a large fireplace provide a welcome and romantic atmosphere to spend with that special someone.

If you would like to experience some local artistic flair The Looking Glass found in in the Hawley Silk Mill has  some of the most  talented artists this area has to offer. After experiencing the talents of this beautiful gallery  stay and have coffee at the Cocoon Coffee House and Bakery.  The building built in 1880 was a silk mill until 1956 and to this day is the largest bluestone building in the world. The Coffee House is located in a building that once housed the cocoons that produced silk for the mill.

Spend a long weekend in the Poconos and enjoy the nature, adventure and romance.
