8 Hot Indian Trail, NC (28079 Zip Code) Neighborhoods To Watch In 2019

 

Indian Trail in Union County remains an affordable area for homes with six of the 8 hottest selling neighborhoods averaging sale prices below $300,000. Only one averaged above $400,000. It should be noted that average sales prices, nonetheless, increased in all eight neighborhoods compared with 2017.

 BRANDON OAKS

 

83 homes sold in Brandon Oaks in 2018 (up two versus 2017). Brandon Oaks remains a perennially favorite affordable Indian Trail neighborhood, although average sale prices in 2018 were higher at $262,159 compared with $251,772 in 2017.

Lake Park saw 60 closed sales in 2018 at an average price of $247,296. This is up from 51 sales in 2017 at an average price of $224,816.

UNION GROVE

A new construction community by Bonterra Builders, Union Grove proved popular in 2018 with home buyers looking for new homes. 48 homes sold in 2018, compared with 36 in 2017. Average sale prices also increased in 2018 to $308,369 from $285,432 the prior year.

A Centex/Pulte community built between 2008 and 2015, Fieldstone Farm also saw an increase in both number of homes sold in 2018 and average selling price. 32 homes sold in 2018 (compared with 29 in 2017). Average selling price increased from $245,362 in 2017 to $267,572.

THE ENCLAVE AT CRISMARK

 

With the completion of new construction in The Enclave at Crismark for all intents and purposes, only 26 homes sold in 2018 as compared with 63 in 2017. We would not expect much in the way of resale activity as yet. However, as with other Indian Trail hot neighborhoods, average sale prices increased in  2018 to $420,501 from $413,826 in 2017.

Joan Cox hi Joan... Indian Trail is one of the few areas so close to Charlotte that remains affordable and where you can buy under $300,000. Matthews, which is adjacent, used to be like that but not so much, anymore.

I sold in Indian Trail a ton before the market went sideways and it lost some popularity when people who find affordable homes in Matthews and other sections of Union County. Now that the market has significantly improved over the past three/four years, Indian Trail's affodability has become a big draw again.
