Recently, another AR member, Wanda Kubat-Nerdin, posted about her 3,686 days together post. It's great to walk down memory lane here in the Rain, remembering all of the wonderful friends we've made along the way of writing countless blog posts. She got me to thinking about my very first post. It wasn't hard to find, clicking on the date category in my list of blog posts.
Low and behold, my 10 year anniversary is 02/18/19! Ten years ago I started a rambling post about being Green. I combined 3 different topics in one post and it's a wonder anyone read it.
There were some brave souls who read and commented, not that they undertsood what my post meant or where I was going with it. It began by describing the housing market as Green but Down! I digress.
The market was dropping and I had switched my niche that year to energy efficiency. At that time, homes were becoming harder to sell and no one wanted to talk about energy efficiency. But now, let's just say I'm swamped!
The point is, I wrote that first post and members commented. It was my first taste at writing a blog, posting something of which I was familiar even though I had never written a blog. It took me a while after Rain Camp came to Scottsdale to join, let alone to blog.
But how happy am I to still be here among great people sharing stories, seasons, life's changes, and the many real estate lessons in print! Thank you all!
