This is the trap that some agents will fall into, when they say "internet leads stink!" because the majority of those leads don't progress into anything meaningful. The truth is, not all internet leads are bad...they are just being followed up with incorrectly.
To convert these leads into clients, you must understand the consumer timeline. When you understand that, you will be able to answer these questions:
- Why are they are on your site?
- Where are they in their home buying process?
- When will they be ready to talk to an agent?
- Why are most of my internet leads "just looking?
