The Alameda’s Farmer’s Market is open to the public Saturday, February 9, and Tuesday, February 12 mornings from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, rain or shine. All the fruits and vegetables are available at great prices. So good! Don’t miss the opportunity to shop for delectable fruits, vegetables, and flowers. The market is on Haight Avenue at Webster Street and is open rain or shine.
Alameda South Shore Center and Off the Grid food trucks will be at South Shore on Saturday, February 9, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in the South Shore Center parking lot in front of Petco.
Crab Cove for Family Nature Fun Hour features “I Love Crab Cove”. Then find out what’s new at the cove on Saturday, February 9, and Sunday, February 10 at 2:00 pm. Crab Cove is located at 1252 McKay Avenue. Please call 510-544-3187 for more information.
Saturday, February 9 at Noon, the American Association of University Women luncheon featuring Andrea Morgan who will speak about the reduction of pollution and controlling climate change. Sunday, February 10, Alameda Wildlife Reserve Work Party, 9 to noon. Help prepare the reserve at Alameda Point for the return of the endangered least turn in April. Please call 521-4402 to register.
