Numerous publications are sighting data to suggest that South Florida is losing its appeal and ability to attract new homeowners. Based on a recent study conducted by Florida Atlantic University, some are saying that South Florida is experiencing a slow erosion of "domestic" permanent residents. Sunny Isles Beach has become renowned for being “Florida’s Riviera.” In addition, accolades continue for Sunny Isles Beach as it recently earned the distinction of being named the “#1 emerging travel destination in the United States” by Trip Advisor. Practically every week, Sunny Isles Beach is making news in the media illustrating the city’s ongoing renaissance.
