So Spring it shall be – Monday Morning Coffee

Let’s go ahead and declare it to be Spring!

Sure! We could get a blast of cold air during one of these Spring showers resulting in ICE or SNOW, but I’m thinking it won’t be much more than a 1 day inconvenience.

My property (Owen Hollow) is full of buds and new growth popping up everywhere.

There’s a special significance of this transition to Spring . . . Every day is a lesson in possibilities.

The outdoors gets more interesting and vibrant with every passing moment – New smells and colors as the frequent rains cleanse the earth and feed the new growth.

Same goes in our personal and professional lives as we realize the “dark days of winter” are behind us.

We can now awaken from our relative hibernation and stretch ourselves in preparation for the busyness that ensues.

Spring is a time for inspiration and growth for me, as I intentionally seize each day in all its glory.

Is this melodrama?

Am I blowing this out of proportion?

Is it “Just another season”?

I guess to each his/her own . . . I choose to celebrate the transformation and embrace the possibilities that emerge.

New life and ideas and relationships ad infinitum.

These are 2 books I am “exploring” to stretch my mind and get the creative juices flowing to get the most out of every day.

The Magic” is – well – MAGICAL, as the author takes the reader through a 28 day journey of learning much of what we’ve known about ourselves all along, and have allowed the frenetic pace of our lives to abandon. I hereby invite you to partake in your journey of (re)discovery – This is not just a book to read . . . It requires daily participation.

This Is Marketing” is Seth Godin’s new book. It’s a MUST READ for anyone in any business . . . Truthfully, it’s also relevant for folks who are not “in business”. This book is so rich in ideas and content that I have decided to read it in “small bites” – 2 chapters each week.

At Pareto Realty, Our team is reading these books as our Book Club Books of the months of February and March . . . While we also go deeper with our weekly course affectionately known as “Life Rhythm.”

So . . . If you agree with me that NOW is the time to awaken from the winters slumber (blahs), join us on this journey by grabbing your copy of these 2 great books and doing the hard work of getting the most benefit from them.

Below is this morning’s Drive Time Video (Hundreds of these are archived at http://BarrysDriveTime.com)  . . . about GRATITUDE!

I am grateful you are here reading with me because together is way better than the alternative.

PS: 2 things of primary focus of mine this Spring having to do with “New Life” and growth are:

  1. Serve more Home Buyers and Sellers – Exclusive, discreet representation for people on the move.
  2. Build our team of Niche Real Estate Sales Professionals and help them serve more Home Buyers and Sellers throughout Middle Tennessee

We are having a sunny day here in Sacramento.  And, when I went out to run errands this morning, I saw signs that spring was trying hard to emerge from a long winter's nap.   I found daffodils in large clumps in full bloom.
