When It Is Not

Just A Matter Of Time

Pondering - Just A Matter of Time in San Marino CA

It Is Just A Matter Of Time  We have likely heard it in the past.  Time heals all wounds.  Give it some time.  It seems to be that time is given the role of the bad guy in the script of life. You know the character wearing the black hat in an old western movie.

But time is just one factor in the picture.  Or just part of an entire scenario.  It's not just one thing.  I won't say never but rarely is it ever just one thing. Not this or that.  It's part of what we see and hear and touch and more.

So, it is not just a matter of time.  Time isn't an excuse or a reason or anything but an element of measurement.  At least I don't think that a fair premise assumes anything beyond that.

Time IS an interesting thing, Michael, and I enjoyed your thoughts on this. So many of us never seem to have enough of it, yet it passes at the same rate for us all. Some have figured out how to use the time we have more effectively than others, others waste it. No question that our time is unlimited!

Jeff

How much is your time worth? Everybody has 86,400 seconds to use everyday, yet, once used, you can never get it back.  Think about how most people spend up to 28,800 or more seconds everyday just sleeping. So, learn to use your time wisely.

Everyday is a miracle, yet, time is not unlimited because you'll never know when your time is up until it happens and it will eventually happen to all of us, won't it?

Morning Michael.

We are all given just a certain amount of time.  I know my clock is winding down, it's just a matter of time, so I live each second to the fullest

Michael, time is an interesting topic. We all have the same amount of time each day yet, we never know when our time will run out. Time feels to move faster the older I get and I do my best to live in the present.

Michael, there are some days time is not on our side, or too many things get in the way.  We have to make the best of it!

Time marches on, Michael. It never stops. Not even when you think you can stop the clock, it's only a postponement. How you use it is what makes the difference. It is a tool in the path of life.

Hi Michael!

I knew a Broker who seemed to get more done in 60 seconds than I could do in an hour. Baffled, I asked him about his schedule. He told me his formula: In bed by 9:30, back to the office at 5:30 or 6:00 AM to do paperwork. He scheduled all unexpected drop in buyer and seller appointments to be set after lunch for 1:00 to 4:00 PM, or in-between any inspection / appraisal / closings for that day.  He worked 6 days and was "closed on Sundays." He told me, "Keep track of your watch or it will keep track of you."

Excellent post!

Time is something that is will continue moving on - with or without us! It's how we choose to control ourselves with regards to time and time management - with full awareness that we can't rewind or fast-forward.

Ponder on, Michael!

I agree, it is not always time that heals, it is most likely something that happens after a period of time, probably after lots of pondering, that a lightbulb goes on and the darkness lifts.
