I wish Reuben, my cat would allow a dog in the house.  But, both he and his sister, Camilla, would divorce me if I were to bring one home!  Your's are so darn cute!

You are so right.  Nothing can duplicate the love that comes from bringing a homeless animal into your home and giving it the life of a beloved pet.

Last night during the Westminster Dog Show they had a feature of dogs who served in the military and police being rehabilitated and adopted to their forever homes. It that doesn't make you misty, nothing will.

We have never owned a pet that wasn’t a rescue animal so I get what you are saying and agree Sheila Anderson 

People have always suggested that I get a pet because I live alone, but I don't get lonely and have never felt the need for one.
