~ Facebook Marketing Tips ~
You have worked hard at establishing and refining your Facebook marketing tactics to ensure real estate consumers are finding and engaging with you. They are now asking for assistance with their buying and/or selling needs. Now what?
Here are key things you should be doing to cement online relationships and let others know you are a trusted real estate resource they should want to do future business with too...
- Respond Quickly - When you get inquiries or questions, respond as fast as is practical. If it takes several hours for you to engage, explain why. Even a quick note explaining a more detailed response will be forthcoming is better than nothing at all. If your consumer response rate mimics a sieve, you will not see sustained success on FB.
- Be Genuine - Those who contact you will quickly see through any charade or smoke screen so make sure you are transparent, honest, and completely forthcoming. Be in person who you are online and there will never be an issue with your authenticity.
- Exceed Expectations - At a minimum, provide what you say you will. Whenever possible, over deliver. If you promise something via social media, follow through, as it is very easy to become complacent with online tasks. Remember...your followers are always watching.
- Post Testimonials - Have clients do a 30-second video you can share or have them directly post about your services (and their experience) on your FB page. Others will notice and your contact rate will improve!
- Listen Intently - You are the expert, and need to provide periodic advice, but there are times you need to take on a passive role (i.e. home likes/dislikes, amenities, etc.). Sometimes consumers just want to vent. When that happens on your biz page, show empathy, without trying to solve the "issue".
