Terrific Lottie Kendall  this is very similar to the volunteering my parents did here and know that your community appreciates every minute of your time.

Lottie I know that San Francisco has a very large homeless population, but a line of people for more than 2 hours is a lot of meals.  It gives us a different perspective on life when we serve others as you are doing.

Good evening Lottie - there are many in need in San Francisco.  You have certainly made a difference.

Such a wonderful thing to do!  I find that volunteering is so much more rewarding than giving money!

That an impressive organization to provide that many meals, and the volunteers it takes to keep it running. Thank you for making a difference.

I wonder if they are going to branch out down here in L.A. because we have an even bigger problem - largest in the country and getting worse. That's something I would get invovled in also. Good for you, Lottie.

Lottie Kendall - There are some people you don't need to meet or that you never met (like Mother Teresa) to know that is a good person.

Lottie, I never met you. We talked by phone. We read and comment on each other's blog posts. I feel 100% certain you ARE  good person!

Lottie- I applaud and admire what you are doing. It's hard to imagine a line as long as the one you had in San Francisco and sadly know that this is happening throughout our country. Thank you for doing what you do.
