I'm not there yet but I'm sure being a grandparent is a magical difference. Our role as a grandparent is definitely different than being the parent.

I don't know about that, Paul... then again we always lived so far away from our grands when they were born and when they were growing up. We love them and we love seeing them, but not sure about the "magic." That being said, I am looking forward to our granddaughter's visit in about two weeks when she's on break from Vanderbilt U.

Good morning Paul. I can attest to that as a relatively new grandparent. We get to spoil ours at least three times a week! Enjoy your day!

Good morning,  Paul - I'll take Sharon's word for it as I have no  knowledge of the subject. Observationally(is this a word?) it appears true.

Hi Paul- Our grandchildren are in Omaha so we don't get to see them as often as we'd like. I am now closer to my grand-nephews and niece so it's proving to be a lot of fun.
