Almost Wordless Wednesday ~ Yard Art and Signs of Spring

While showing homes in Belhaven, I noticed the Japanese Magnolias in full bloom. I've always heard them referred to as "tulip trees". Their beautiful pink blossoms indicate Spring will arrive soon. (It won't be soon enough!)

The same day, I was greeted by a funky musician propped beside the mailbox. Since Belhaven is known for its historic neighborhoods, art and cultural opportunities, this guy was right at home.

It's fun to capture interesting photos while touring neighborhoods and showing homes to clients. I hope you enjoy.

Those beautiful magnolia trees made my day.  My azaleas are just now opening up in my yard and I can't wait for them to be in full bloom.

Tulip trees would be rare in Oklahoma but I wonder at our home in Florida I have seen these but didn't know the name for them.

That is one very spectacular Tulip tree.  It seems to be enjoying signs of early spring in your part of the country.  We aren't quite there yet in Sacramento.

Thanks Norma J. Elkins. They are extremely beautiful this time of year.

Barbara Todaro - the weather has been either cold or rainy. We've had some warm days, of course, but so much rain! I couldn't handle the freezing cold with snow. And am READY for Spring!

Thanks A. It's nice to know Mississippi and California have Tulip trees in common. Belhaven with its unique art is well known and festive. Such a fun place to tour. - Ron and Alexandra Seigel

If you are walking along the street Joe Pryor, you can't help but notice how the blossoms favor tulips. They bloom in February and give us hope for Springtime!

We've had a few warm days Myrl Jeffcoat but our weather is alternating between cold, then warm, then rain, then cold... I'm ready for extended sunshine!

Pat live the beautiful pink blooms. The fall and winter months I usually take photos of the animals as there are not many blooms here especially during the winter.

Hi Pat Starnes-Front Gate Realty - Those Japanese Magnolias are simply gorgeous!!!

Seeing that funky musician would have made me stop too!

It's really fun to see something different, especially when the seasons change. People can be so creative and Mother Nature too!
