West Oak Hill, Travis Country, and the Southwest Parkway corridor have experienced some notable growth over the past five years. With restaurants like Jack Allen's Kitchen, Via 313, Juiceland, and Slab BBQ choosing Oak Hill as a base of operations, and new developments like Lantana Place (complete with a Moviehouse & Eatery location and the upcoming Carve restaurant from Perry's,) I get a lot of questions like: "is there anything affordable in the West Oak Hill area?"
One answer that surprises some folks: Vista Hills Condos. Located right between The Ridge At Lantana and Lantana Place, Vista Hills is a ~20 year old gated condo complex with a community pool. Churches, preschools, and the Lantana Place development (along with Yeti HQ and AMD) are within a few blocks of the complex. Here's some basic facts and figures for reference.

The development is zoned to Austin ISD's Oak Hill Elementary School and Small Middle School as of February 2019. HOA fees runs between $247-$378 a month in 2019 depending on unit size. As noted above, these are popular condos, with the average time to sell a quick 23 days and an average market negotiation of less than 1%!
