Defining Your RelationshipWith Money
Neil Simon once said: “I firmly believe that if you follow a path that interests you, not to the exclusion of love, sensitivity, and cooperation with others, but with the strength of conviction that you can move others by your own efforts, and do not make success or failure the criteria by which you live, the chances are you’ll be a person worthy of your own respect."
By choosing to believe in that very special YOU that you bring to this world and no one else can replicate, it can go hand-in-hand with success.
Money isn’t dependent upon being the prettiest, smartest or starting out in a rich family. It also doesn’t bring you the degree of ultimate happiness that so many feel is the meal ticket.
It’s about mindset, mindfulness, having a GOOD and HEALTHY relationship with money, as with yourself, your spouse, your work partners, your animals, your environment, your ultimate life’s mission.
Napoleon Hill said in his world famous book Think and Grow Rich, “You can write your own price tag, and if you are ready to receive the miracle of natural law, then you will understand what I mean when I say that whatever the mind can conceive and believe, your mind can achieve."
Many years ago, I decided to write out a “mantra” and placed it in my bathroom over the mirror. It said simply:
I am creating prosperity NOW. The subconscious takes that in as the present and doesn't judge. It's as if it's already happening and the subsconscious accepts it as if it's true. Amazing how it can work!
Soon after doing this, my life changed, a new career emerged and my dad, who felt that I had never had a “real job” was thrilled that I was making good money and had insurance and benefits.
After having an artistic mentality about money all of my life, I have determined to be more relationship-friendly and directly address my kinship with prosperity. We are not wanting, my husband and I, but I am directly and consciously delving into this for 2019 for my own self worth.
As Sarah Ban Breathnach wrote in Peace and Plenty, You will have enough because you are enough.
I have resurrected my past mantra and it is now prominently placed above my computer where my subconscious takes it in and makes it so!
