Aetna to add 300 Jobs at High Point NC Operations

An expansion by Aetna at its High Point operations is expected to bring 300 new jobs by the end of 2020.

Gov. Roy Cooper made this announcement Thursday at a ceremony at the High Point Municipal Building.

Aetna, a CVS Health business, currently has 1,230 employees at its High Point facility. The company plans to expand its 126,000-square-foot space that it currently leases by adding 16,000 more square feet, a news release from the High Point Economic Development Corporation stated.

This new space will be used for clinical care management and customer service positions. The company is investing about $2.5 million in building uplift and equipment.

Aetna's facility is at 4050 Piedmont Parkway.

Gov. Roy Cooper states in the release that "organizations like Aetna know that North Carolina's commitment to education and workforce development will provide the hard-working professionals they'll need to support their business for years to come."
