Lantern Festival Parade & Lion Dance in Chinatown NYC 紐約唐人街元宵節遊行舞獅

There is Lion Dance, Marching Bands and the street & park full of Red Lanterns to celebrate the Lantern Festival.

The Parade began at Kimlau Square marching up E. Broadway - Eldridge St - Grand St & finished at Sara D. Roosevelt Park.

The Lantern Festival is a Chinese Festival celebrated on the 15th day of the first month in the lunar calendar.

第十六屆元宵節慶祝活動在紐約唐人街舉行。遊行在華裔軍人忠烈坊(林則徐像)開始,途經東百老匯,愛烈治街,格蘭街到羅斯福公園。這次活動由多個福建團體支持。有舞獅,遊行樂隊,贈送元宵等。
