I tend to agree with Nina Hollander. I don't think I have the mindset for that type of living. However, if I ever got to a point where I needed some form of senior living, I'd probably just book myself on a cruise ship perpetually. Afterall, cruises would likely cost less, they have all the food in the world you can eat. They go to nice warm places (other than Alaska). There's medical and recreation on board. And, when you croak, they can just toss your body overboard!

Hello Roy,

I agree with Nina Hollander and Myrl Jeffcoat . We have a friend who gave up the home of his dreams for the equity in it and moved to a smaller home with his wife (retirement). He is so depressed as a result, does not have the space of the lifestyle he was accustomed to...And when you are depressed no $$$$ can get you out of it...it takes beaucoup drugs...and who wants to be a seemingly happy zombie.
