Sometimes I find myself frustrated because of things beyond my control. For whatever reason the older I get the more I am noticing this happen. I am a pretty simple person and just want to be talked to with candor and capacity.. It is just a matter of being forthright. When folks are honest I can deal. On the other hand, once I am done in by someone I am done with them forever. Being forthright is easy.
Sheila the older I get the more it bothers me when people are not forthright with me. Just treat me the way I treat you. That is all I expect.

I was just saying that to someone this morning. Why can't people just be honest? I can deal with honesty, whatever the situation.

Sheila:
I completely agree with you - when someone is not forthright, it kills credibility. I have little patience as well for this kind of treatment.

It is exhausting otherwise Carol. You can't help if you don't know. TY Sheila
Hi Sheila Anderson - I just had this conversation with a friend about this subject.

Morning Sheila.
For me once you've lost my trust it will be a long time, if not forever, in getting it back

Trust is a biggy....and when it has been violated it is difficult and in many cases impossible to bring it back to where it was before the violation.

Hi Sheila - Hmm. I just read your post from the morning of February 26 and I notice a bit of a theme with this one. Frustration, maybe? Cabin fever?
Whatever it is - I am sure you can find the solution that works best for you.

Hi Michael. You see something and it is there but it isn't cabin fever. Thanks. Sheila

A lot of things change as we get older. For me, some things actually don't bother me as much as they once did but more times than not I'm finding more and more that I have less patience for.
Great comments coming in!
