Sold! First Time Homebuyers Chose Fishhawk Lake to Live Full time!

This historic home and one of the first homes built at Fishhawk Lake (1970) will now be the beloved full time residence for first time home buyers, Nick and Javier. 

They found Fishhawk Lake  nestled in the coastal range of Oregon on a lark and as soon as they saw this home, they fell in love! They drove back into Portland, and contacted me straight-away. I was given the great privilege of representing them as buyers, as well as the wonderful sellers who were reluctantly selling, but having to since they have moved to CA to care for aging parents. 

We met soon after and I showed them the 70's vibe of the inside of this rambling cabin, filled with wonderful generations of family memories, both from the owners who first built it together as a family, to my recent sellers who ALSO fell in love with it immediately and created memories with their young family of four.

This welcoming home will now be lived in full time for the first time ever. Nick and Javier wrote a beautiful heartwarming letter of introduction early on in the process and won the hearts of the sellers. (I even wrote a blogpost about it). Along with putting them together with my all-time favorite loan officer, Shawn Baeschlin, this truly was a seamless process start-to-finish. I couldn't have asked for a better way to have this be my buyer's first experience buying a home. And I can't wait to go over for a much-promised dinner at their place, as they are now my neighbors! 

More and more are choosing to live at Fishhawk Lake full time as the community is very welcoming, secluded, filled with wildlife and offers solitude galore or socializing if you crave that. The water beckons you to let go of the crazy urban lifestyle. Taxes are low, prices are very reasonable, too. If you are still working, this is a refuge for working from home, if it's feasible.
