Print Media has been problematic for quite some time.

Internet marketing, advertising and public relations efforts tend to pay off much better.  The choices are mostly to try tricking you into the same wasteful habits that print media caused.

If you waste money on bad Internet media, you will be in the same boat as when you were wasting your money on bad print media.

I can only think of one company off the top of my head that has a proven record in this arena.

We have dedicated more of our advertising toward internet than print.  We do see that we get some people from our print advertising, but the majority is off various websites.  I think it really depends on who your target audience is as to which venue will serve you best.
