This is Why We're Not a Fan...

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Turner Real Estate Group

Most home buyers are using websites like Zillow.com and Realtor.com because they do not know there are other options out there that are better alternatives.

"I have been in the real estate business for 23 years. I don't think Realtor.com and Zillow have been around that long. Maybe 12-14 years?" says Wayne Turner of Turner Real Estate Group in Mandeville, LA.

Zillow and Realtor.com are not real estate companies. They're simply just third-party websites, and the reason we're not a fan of them (like most realtors aren't) is because they don't typically have correct data. They're providing information to consumers that is not always have the most up-to-date.

Wayne, great job with the video. I have been in real estate since 1994 and have seen many 3rd party companies come and go like homegain, trulia and others. Personally I don't like Zillow either for the same reason you mentioned.
