Inspirational Thoughts for 2/28/19
"As we express our gratitude, we must never forget
that the highest appreciation is not to utter words,
but to live by them." -- John F Kennedy
Thank you ActiveRain for giving me a platform to express myself through words with illustration through the use of my personal photographs that mean so much to me. I especially want to show gratitude to Michael Jacobs who paid me one of the highest compliments I ever received on February 27th as a result of my passion for writing. He called it "Magic in writing."
When I write, my goal is always to leave the reader feeling satisfied that they spent a few minutes of their time, reading something I believe in and perhaps will be memorable to them. President John F. Kennedy was right, "we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live them."
Writing takes practice. Words must be sincere. If words and photos can warm any reader's heart, can you imagine what it would be like to live in a world where there is peace on earth? Michael was right. There IS "magic in writing."
In my opinion, writing is the equivalent of an individual's voice projecting thoughts and feelings that come straight from the heart. Whenever words are expressed with human emotion and a reader is so moved to cause a pleasant reaction, it is the extension of peace to another human soul. Or as Michael so eloquently put, it is purely "Magic!"
