I have been working with buyers moving to the New Kent, VA area from Maryland. My research has shown that we may very well have turned the corner in the Richmond, VA area real estate market. The houses are averaged 12 days less on the market in May than in April and the average price per sq ft of sold listings has increased by $11.00 per sq ft.
I believe we have hit the bottom in the Richmond, VA market and have started to rebound. Now, we just have to convince our buyers that the sellers are not going to give their house away.
