I have seen many a boat hit by lightning including our submarine at periscope depth one time. You never want to be the piece of metal sticking out of the ocean  Sheila Anderson 

Thunder-like personalities are always bad news.  I'm with you.  Go for the boat.

There are definitely people full of thunder (better known as Bullsh*##), and it's best to avoid them in order to enjoy calm waters and smooth sailing. 

My husband's best friend from childhood was killed when he was struck by lightening while riding his horse.  The lightening went through him and the horse, killing them both.
