This is Susan's husband, Paul. There is no easy way to say this, but Susan passed away in her sleep early yesterday morning. It is of comfort to me - and I know to you - that the Lord insured she did not suffer; rather that she passed peacefully. She just simply didn’t wake up.
As all of you who follow her know, we had a fantastic trip to Alaska, from which we returned on Wednesday. Her spirits had been good as usual and there were no signs of distress or discomfort of any kind. The speculation is that she may have passed due to a blood clot that may have formed during our long journey home.
Our family appreciates your thoughts and prayers and I will be back in touch when the arrangements for her services and internment have been finalized.
