We'll keep this post short with an actionable checklist.
Prerequisite: You have an open house this weekend
Objective: You want to reach the neighbors and utilize your sellers to invite their network of friends and family
Cost: RealBird PRO (starts at only $15/month for unlimited listings with annual membership or $30/month with no contract) + Facebook ad budget: we suggest at least $30 spent over minimum of 2-3 days
- Publish your open house on RealBird (5-10 minutes)
- Use the new Seller Emailing Tool and the open house email copy and RealBird template and email your sellers asking them to simply forward that email to friends, family and colleagues (2 minutes)
- Share the the Open House landing page Url provided by RealBird on your Facebook Page: simple copy the link into the Facebook Page sharing box or use the sharing tool on the landing page itself and select your Page as a target. Make sure you have some catchy headline building on people's curiosity, but don't mislead (1 minutes)
- Boost your post on Facebook and create a new audience with the following demographics: 0.5-3 miles radius of the open house address (whatever radius defines the close neighborhood in your area) and select "Homeowners" as another filter. We have a post describing this in more details (15 minutes)
So within 20-30 minutes you are running an ad for the neighborhood promoting your open house and you also utilized your seller's network to reach more people with the event while also sharing your brand and online capability.
Bonus step: Don't forget to create a Facebook Event as well for the open house and linking it to your open house landing page on RealBird!
