This weeks report on home values for Mission Viejo and surrounding areas homes is prepared by a Mission Viejo Realtor Tim Lorenz. The report shows the Orange County Median Prices for resale homes were 1.5 percent, new homes are up 16.5 percent and resale condos are down 5.1 percent. The sales volume is down for resale homes 14.1 percent, down 20.4 percent on condos and down 33.0 percent for new homes.
Mission Viejo Zip Code 92691 sales prices are down 10.0 percent and the sales volume is down 17.0 percent.
Mission Viejo Zip Code 92692 sales prices are down 0.8 percent and the sales volume is down 32.7 percent.
Aliso Viejo Zip Code 92656 sales prices are up 2.1 and the sales volume is down 17.0 percent.
Laguna Niguel Zip Code 92677 sales prices up 7.1 percent and the sales volume is up 10.3 percent.
Rancho Santa Margarita Zip Code 92688 sales prices are up 0.8 percent and the sales volume up 10.3 percent.
San Clemente Zip Code 92672 sales prices are up 17.2 percent and the sales volume is up 14.3 percent.
San Clemente Zip Code 92673 sales prices are down 17.5 percent and the sales volume is down 31.0
Laguna Niguel appears to be doing well along with San Clemente 92672 and Rancho Santa Margarita. All are showing an up trend. However, the market is basically flat for now. But to see the improvement in those cities is interesting. Lets see it we are about to break out of the negative numbers
