While Trying to Live in the Moment

While I live by sage prompting to live in the moment, I admit there are some times when I live that I’d rather someone just shoot me!  

When those times make company, it’s best to simply look to the future.  There will be golden moments on the horizon.  And, when they arrive, treasure them to memory for a lifetime of savoring!

All - I am absolutely fine!  A couple weeks ago, I bought a new washer and dryer. However, the control panel had a touch pad that had me confused for a few days.  It was a crap shoot for me to get them to start.  In the past I have been known for being tech saavy, and I was a little too proud to read the manual.  However, I finally bit the dust and read the dang thing.  There was one more selection this new washer and dryer required that I push, in addition to the start/stop button.  Afterward, I was mortally wounded by my stupidity.  However, I can at least get them to operate!

Must have been the same company that our dishwasher came from.  It has all kind of settings from ECO to heavy duty, no drying, etc...and it has to have the start button before and after...luckily Ron figured it out without reading the manual...we both try before reading the directions, LOL

Hi Myrl Jeffcoat - I love that image of the boats!  I was reading some of the comments asn saw that you had some frustration with a new high tech washing machine and dryer.  I just recently went through that as well. Fortunately, my husband did read the manual and gave me the "reader's digest" version so I could wash and dry without the frustration.  He decided to leave the manual right on the shelf next to the soap. I have had a code or two show up on the screen and didn't know what that was all about!
