March Active Rain Challenge - Book Smart because Books and art often go hand-in-hand.
Our friend Endre Barath, Jr. has suggested we take the photo above and write about it.
Seems pretty simple to me.
Just a few weeks ago, I went to one of my favorite places... The ACC show held each year right in Baltimore. Each year that I been on AR, I have not only gone to the show but have written a blog along with a video of what I thought were some of the highlights.
The spotlight was on the artists whose work I admired and also the most interesting people. Those that were passionate about their art and were willing to share a bit of their life and how their creativity was incorporated into each day.
When writing my book Real Estate The Right Rome Way, I found the artist for my beautiful book cover right here on AR.

In one of my previous careers, I was that ceramic artist with a ton of passion. That same passion has followed me into my real estate career.
Just today, I was at one of my listings and the seller had one of my ceramic pieces in a prominent spot in their home.
I was delighted to see this piece on display and even pointed it out to the buyers. Just picked it up, turned it over and showed them where I had signed and dated the piece.
Art tells a story and it is fascinating to see what others collect, enjoy and display in the homes that are for sale.
Looking at the piece of art chosen by Endre, I was wondering why that particular piece was important to him.
How did that art show and that painting inspire Endre to motivate so many of us to sit down and write a blog?
It's not always about Real Estate.
Thanks, Endre for the inspiration.
