Give me a map and I can get there.
You and I both want our clients to "find us" in order to do business with us. Why not make it as simple as you can?
I've found that even when I'm dealing with local people they want more then a street address from me so I often tell them it's right downtown, kitty corner from "The Gourmet Chef" or just South of Gideon's Trumpet.
I've decided to put the picture to the right in my phones photo gallery so when people text me for directions I can say "it's in this building kitty corner from "The Gourmet Chef" or just South of Gideon's Trumpet.
Once inside the entry to the building there is a directory giving the suite numbers associated with the tenents but with my office being as far from the front door as you can get (yet on the same floor) I've added several other written/visual aids such as two signs like the one pictured to the left. BTW signage like this can be dirt cheap. This sign was made from a pair of adjustable speaker stands I found at the thrift store for fifty cents each, a photo frame from the dollar store, and the art was done with Print Master on my computer.
If that were not enough I also used a banner I had made years ago by Vista Print and some unused Real Estate sign riders.
just South of Gideon's Trumpet.

From the front door to my office door my name is mentioned six times which I know is a bit excessive but I know people are going to find me once they find the building.
